Anyone going to cape town who wants to be well taken care of and made to feel special should definitely stay at the Blue Gum Hill Bed and Breakfast. What wonderful people. Whatever you want from food to booking tours or a taxi, they handle it all. The service is outstanding. The views of the city and the water are spectacular.

Just wanted to say a very big thank you for the amazing warmth and hospitality you and your little family showed Nicole and myself this last weekend. Our experience in Cape Town was amazing but it must be said that it was your luxurious and comfortable, homey guesthouse that made our trip phenomenal.
Everything from the grand breakfast and fine view to the warm smile and lovely room we found made this a holiday worth reliving time and time again.
You can undoubtedly count on seeing us again in the near future as well as a few of our friends (seeing as how we've been wagging our chins off to everyone we know of how fantastic things were).

Dear Ughetta, Aissa, Christiane and Staff:
Words can not always express the heartfelt feelings adequately. My experience with you and your staff during my first trip to your lovely country has left me with a lasting impression. Particularly arriving right off the bat with that bit of unfortunate incident with the airlines and stolen camera equipment, you all just were so very supportive in every aspect to help me out of that "disappointment mode" by setting in motion necessary reporting procedures and into the next phase of putting this behind me and on to the next phase by encouraging me to take in the beauty that Capetown has to offer.
All of your arrangements and amenities offered by the staff were very appreciated. Needless say the Bluegum is a wonderful "retreat" experience in it's own right.
Now I know why Charlene invariable directs friends and family to stay at the Bluegum Hill when planning a trip to Capetown. I certainly will be one of your West Coast USA promoters 'unofficial" of course as well.
Should any of you find your selves in the West Coast of the USA and especially San Francisco (no doubt a soul sister city of Capetown) I hope you will get in touch so I can extend a special welcome to you in these parts as well.

Hi Ughetta and Aissa, just wanted to wish you a happy new year, and to thank you for a fantastic stay in December.
We arrived home last weekend after a long trip around South Africa; many highlights ranging from the penguins at Boulder beach onto the vineyards of Franschhoek, beautiful coast walks, sunset over the Drakensburg. A long list.
Needless to say England is very wet!
Thanks for making us so welcome during our stay. It is rare to find somewhere so peaceful within such easy reach of a major city so a great location. And as we said driving away, it's rare to find two hosts who make you feel so at home, so all in all a great place to stay.
You might find us on your doorstep one day!
